Michael and I depart tonight for a 10 day trip to Istanbul, a trip I've dreamed of for years. Istanbul has many names: Byzantium, Constantinople and Stamboul, City of the World's Desires and, my favorite: Vasileousa Polis, the "Queen of Cities".
