A little afternoon coffee clatch? |
Tuesday, April 19, 2022
Well yes, there are 7 million tulip bulbs blooming in Keukenhof Gardens. But there are things besides tulips to see. The gardens have 15 miles of walking paths, a children's playground, a windmill and six different pavilions with various visual and educational displays.
We also encountered ducks, sheep, goats and various birds. There are large sculptures on the grounds as well as a central lake with a fountain. Flowering bushes, such as rhododendron and azaleas add to the colorful landscaping. And there are a number of restaurants with patios where you can take a break or have lunch.
