After touring the historic sites, we stopped at a Thanaka
painting school and did a little shopping. I almost bought a singing bowl as we left the market area –
wish I had; price was $20 and nicer than anything else I saw afterwards, which
kept climbing in price to $30 then $45 the closer we got to the bus area.
