Displays of Roman artifacts in the museum are presented from the excavations of the
extensive Roman ruins of Merida. Explanations are clear and bilingual, making the
history come to life.

Especially impressive was a display of a statue grouping, with partial fragments that had been
recovered. A schematic of the full statue grouping was presented, along with the
fragments, to allow you to visualize the statue in a holistic manner.
