Bagan - the beautiful Aurum hotel - in the midst of the historic thousands of stupas

Tuesday, February 27                                                                        Bagan, Myanmar

After our flight from Yangon to Bagan, we traveled directly to the Aurum Hotel, where we will stay only one night.  We were "welcomed warmly", given our keys for our rooms and welcomed to a delicious lunch before we were off for sightseeing in the afternoon.  The complex is large, with individual cottages - very close to the observation Watchtower.
